Scan files as PDF With Your Android Phone

Need a PDF of a physical document, but can’t find a scanner?  Just scan it with your Google Drive app and your smartphone’s camera.

Scan documents as PDFs
  1. Install and open the Drive app on your Android.
  2. Tap Camera to take a picture of your document.

Your scanned document is stored in Drive as a PDF, and you can find it with Google’s powerful text and image search.
