Setting up your classroom display shouldn’t be a headache! Here is a step-by-step guide to getting your Optoma Interactive Panel and computer working perfectly together.
🖥️ Setting Up Your Optoma Panel as Your Main Display
To make sure the touch features on your Optoma panel work exactly like they should, follow these quick steps to get your screens synced up!
1. Open Your Display Settings
- Find a blank spot on your computer desktop and right-click.
- From the menu that pops up, select Display settings.
2. Find Your Optoma Panel
- Look for the Identify button and give it a click.
- Numbers will appear on your screens. Take note of which number shows up on your Optoma panel (it’s usually #3, but it might be different for you!).
3. Sync the Screens
- Scroll down until you see the section labeled Multiple displays.
- Click the dropdown menu and choose Duplicate desktop on 1 and [Your Optoma Number]. This makes sure both your computer and the panel are showing the same thing!
4. Make it the “Star” of the Show
- Look back at the top of the window and click on the box labeled 1|[Your Optoma Number] to make sure it’s highlighted.
- Scroll back down to the Multiple displays section one more time and check the box that says Make this my main display.
Success Check: Now, try touching the Optoma panel! If your icons and menus react to your touch, you’re all set and ready to go.
